Joanna S. Fowler, PhD, receives SNMMI 2017 Georg Charles de Hevesy Nuclear Pioneer Award

(Society of Nuclear Medicine) Joanna S. Fowler, PhD, senior chemist emeritus of the Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory in New York, has been named this year's recipient of the Georg Charles de Hevesy Nuclear Pioneer Award for her contributions to nuclear medicine. Fowler was presented the award by the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) during its 2017 Annual Meeting, June 9-14 in Denver, Colo.
